With shows taking place across the city, the festival’s lineup features stand up sets, variety shows, surprise video screenings, LGBTQIA+ focused showcases, audience-inspired on-the-fly comedy and much more. 

Schedule highlights include:

Lance Bangs presents Come Laugh With Us – A night of stand up, sketch, and never before seen video from the legendary director’s archives. Featuring Natalie Palamides, Girl God, Steve Agee, music and more!

Sean Patton Live!  – An engaging storyteller who captivates crowds with his high-energy hilarity, Sean Patton is a comedy legend in the making. 

AJ Wilkerson and Friends – The comic known as ‘Captain Autism’ brings his nervous charm, endearing smile, and appendix-bursting humor back to Portland for one night only.

Friendship Dungeon – A special midnight edition of the unpredictable variety show hosted by BFFs Emmet Montgomery and Derek Sheen.

Rip City Comedy Festival events will run Thursday, May 2 - Saturday, May 4.

Official festival venues include McMenamin’s Crystal Ballroom, The Mission Theater, Clinton St. Theater, Al’s Den, Kickstand Comedy, Kiln, Crush Bar PDX, Popehouse, and Rogue Brewing Eastside Pub.

Tickets

Individual tickets must be purchased for access to all performances at Crystal Ballroom, Mission Theater, and Al’s Den; prices start at $20. VIP Weekend Passes – which include festival show access and choice of headline show,, additional private event admission, and limited edition gifts – are available starting at $50.

About Rip City Comedy Festival

Founded in 2023, the Rip City Comedy Festival presents globally touring comedians alongside Portland’s favorite local performers. Founded by former comedy club workers and comedy scene veterans, the festival aims to promote Portland’s eclectic arts communities while promoting some of the country’s most exciting up-and-coming comedic voices.

The Ha Ha Harvest Comedy Festival is back for its 5th year! This year we are adding films to the lineup and a really awesome screenwriting competition, where the top 3 selections will have a live table read with our comedic performers! Ha Ha Harvest Comedy and film Festival is a cornucopia of comedy shows and short film blocks over the post Thanksgiving weekend at iconic Portland venues.

Comedic performers and filmmakers can network at our events, watch panels, and laugh all weekend long.

NW Black Comedy Festival

Bigger, Blacker, and Funnier with more showcases and Live Podcasts than ever before. 10 Showcases, 4 live podcasts and over 60 Black Comics from all over the world will be in town for 4 Days and hours of laughter!

This year’s festival will be taking place at the Curious Comedy Theater, one of only two comedy clubs located In Portland!

Dirty Angel Entertainment Is a small, Black-Owned Business that provides personal coaching, consulting, production, and management. We focus on highlighting black joy, humor, and its historic importance in the black community, artistic expression, and a voice against anti-blackness.

DAE Is the creator, founder, and executive producer of The NW Black Comedy Festival. In its 7th Year, it is a multi-day, multi-venue festival featuring 80+ comics from across the country including live performances and podcasts.
